GREAT GIFT FOR TEACHERS!!!!

I am the home room mom for Barrett's class this year. It has been a little time consuming but I have really enjoyed it. I wasn't sure what to do for his teacher for the class gift so I came up with this. I got a live wreath from Kroger and decorated it with ornaments and ribbon. His teacher is a huge RAZORBACK fan so I found these cute Razorback ornaments at Hobby Lobby! I got the class to all chip in money and I purchased about five different gift cards from all her favorite places and placed them in these adorable gift card holders. She LOVED it!!!! Thought you might enjoy this fun idea. I know I will be doing it again!!!!!

  1. As a fourth grade teacher, we always joke about the chocolates, candles, mugs and lotions we get, while thoughtful, you can only use so much of all of that. So I LOVE this wreath, and know that your son's teacher must have appreciated your kind gift and creativeness!!!

  2. Love it! Will save this for a "teacher gift blog post" for next year...will post it early so some sweet teachers can avoid Bath and Body Works:)

  4. I am the room mom for my son's class and we did something similar. We got a wreath and asked everyone to bring in a gift card of their choice to one of the teacher's favorite places. She loved it! Almost everyone participated and she got about 17 gift cards to her favorite restaurants, stores, etc. My son's Kindergarten class last year did something similar. We were asked to bring in a gift card of our choice and they put them on a mini tree and had a gift card tree.
